Create a working ISO on Linux

Using dd isn’t always as easy as it sounds, since sometimes there’s a difference between, e.g., /dev/cdrom, /dev/sdb, /dev/sr0, etc. I have had good luck with /dev/sr0. I.e.,

dd if=/dev/sr0 of=/path/to/image.iso
